Hi there Val,

Here is some correspondence from LINZ regarding their weed works for the coming season.

Might be something that people want to look at and perhaps discuss at the next meeting.

It might pay to send the new BRaid email to them, just so that BRaid can always get the messages in case I am not around to forward them.....

Dear All,

On behalf of Land information New Zealand (LINZ), Boffa Miskell is consulting on the LINZ Proposed Annual Biosecurity Control Works Programme for 2011/2012 on Crown Land administered by LINZ. A schedule of the control sites has been attached to this email for your information.

The attached schedule identifies the various sites for which pest control works are proposed in the coming season. The control works are divided into broad control categories with the location, target pest species, proposed control method, estimated area of infestation and proposed completion date provided for each site. Where sites are anticipated to be delivered through interagency agreements these are also identified (categorised as ‘Contributions’).

Please contact us by 20 August 2011 if you wish to comment on the 2011/12 Proposed Annual Control Works Programme, or make us aware of any opportunities for coordination of the proposed works with other programmes. Maps of individual control areas will be available on www.boffamiskell.co.nz/LINZ within the next week – alternatively if you would like to view individual maps before they are available on the website, please contact Marcus Girvan.
