Hi Frances & Nick,

 

I got your emails from the BRAID mailing list and I was wondering whether you know of any Masters thesis topics incorporating braided river ecology (esp ornithology and native fish), environmental science, hydrology, or pref a combination. Ideally, a project that investigates the effects of impacts on water quality or quantity on the natural ecosystem. I have a postgrad dip in Wildlife Management, and am looking to return to study this year. Also, if you know about any possible funding options, Uni supervisors or suitable study sites (in terms of impacts, bird numbers, access), this would be great to know. Please pass on this mail to appropriate persons, or post on BRAID if you feel it is suitable.
