St. Louis Rehabbers Club Tour: Benton Park West

Starting Location: 3224 Michigan Ave, St. Louis, MO 63118

 

St. Louis Rehabbers Club will feature Benton Park West.  We'll start as a group and travel to each location as a group.   

 

#1: 3224 Michigan Ave @ Utah

Formerly a four-family, this property has been converted into two townhouses.  The renovation is historic and features hardwood floors, historic wood millwork, and many original features.  The kitchens are luxurious with stainless steel appliances, upgraded cabinets, and granite countertops.  The bathrooms also feature upgraded tiles and vanities.  Each townhouse also comes with new 2-car garages and privacy fences.

 

#2: 3259 Minnesota Ave@ Utah

This two-family has sat vacant for several years.  It is nearing completion of a gut rehab that maintains the historical characteristics such as hardwood floors, wide base boards, and window casements.  The original pocket doors are back in use as well.

 

#3:  2839 Wyoming St @ Oregon

This full gut rehab was a City Owned Property for over 9 years. The shotgun style home was converted into a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath semi open concept that is bringing it from 1890 to 2013. From new windows/doors, new 200 amp Electric service, PEX Plumbing, new HVAC to the White Rolled Roof and fully Insulated and Vapor Barrier, this house will be ready to move in and live with comfort for years to come. #4: 2801 Wyoming St @ California

The former corner bar has been empty for 20 years.  Utilizing historic tax credits, the building is being transformed into a multi-family by Phoenix Redevelopment Group. 

 

#5: 2626-28 Wyoming St @ Texas

The energy along Wyoming is picking up!  With the rehab of the historic Garfield School underway, the neighboring five-family was in need of a gut rehab.  In the dry wall stage, this building will house five apartments.
