Dear Presidents Lillian, Jeannie and Myrna,

Please see below another message of concern from our Regional Coordinator in Africa.

Our hearts go out to you and your loved ones at the very difficult time. We are very concerned that we have still not received any communication from our sisters in the Ormoc club. President Lillian please let us that you and our members are safe.

BPW International is in the process of setting up a request for donations that will be broadcast to our affiliates. In the past, donations for national disasters have been made directly to BPW International. We will let you know the process in due course.  Rest assured you are in our thoughts and prayers

Susan

Dear Susan,
Please accept our message support to our Philippine sisters on  the recent disaster in the country. Our thoughts and prayers go to the families affected in the disaster. I have been preoccupied with personal issues these past few days so have not been able to respond earlier.

Good news, ladies!

Aside from Move.ph (Rappler), my editor in METRO also assigned me to write an article based on lessons learned from the forum (for the January issue).

In light of this, may I please ask for a copy of the speakers' speeches and presentations--esp those from the afternoon? I have some notes and recordings from the morning.

May I also ask for a CD of photos so I can choose what can go with the articles? Worst case (since I'll be in Cebu this weekend), maybe someone can share 15 good photos that I can shortlist and send to METRO? (They need just 5.)

Also, for the Move.ph article, may I be patched up with Ms. Dulany and some of our foreign guests, so I can get an outside perspective? :)

Thanks, everyone!

Dear All,

Congratulations on the Conference! I have heard incredible things from those who had participated.
It is a shame that some of our fellows couldn't make it. Some were stranded in the Visayas and could not fly out. We were also stuck in the house for two days on Signal no.3. The wind sounded like banshees!  Never experienced that and I hope not to again.

I missed the conference which is a shame. But happy to report that we had very successful University Business Clinics, Girl Rising screenings and Higher Education Scholarship Fair in Region VII and Zamboanga del Norte.
Next week, we will be doing a Trainer's Training on GAD as well as another training for Microsoft Tools for SMEs.

I am sorry to miss, yet again, another meeting. But I will be back only on the 24th. I do hope to have a saner schedule after this trip.

Saludos,
Jen
