My two cents worth: To send out any press releases at this point will be useless and covered by Christmas rush, not to mention the continuing Yolanda news.

Striking first thing on January 2014 was my plan as normally, media look for stories on January. It won't be old news if we spin the direction moving forward with clear messages for the first quarter 2014

1. who we are, and that we have launched ( we have this)
2. Exactly what do we plan to do (activities have to be identified and made final)
3. How to become members and the benefits of membership (we still need to final this)I will work on this with the Comms team upon my arrival.

On the membership: There are some guidelines that can be used from BPW International, although yes, we will need to make our own local guidelines. I will send these to the Membership Task Force Group (Beng-Ailene-Mitsch-Karmi) in another email. I suggest we let the Christmas season go? Lets final the Membership Guidelines, then post this on January first week alongside the press media spin. I will forward to the Membership Task Force the draft of "benefits for members" I had done close to three weeks back, although this was also flashed on screen and printed out during the event.

Per the last meeting, we still need to identify the date for the Strat Plan meeting as only four different "Mentoring Group Events were formed  to handle the planning of each 

Project Heads: Beng (Finance) / Daks (Legal and Requirements for SME Businesses) / Jeannie (Self Development or Personality Development?) / Ros (Communication). Need to check these details with Beng who made the minutes.

Hi Mitsch,

I suggest we all make a list of "possible" members  for deliberation soonest.  We should use the impact of the launch while it is "hot", otherwise interest will become lukewarm.  I still have to read about the launch in the major papers.  Is there anyone preparing the press release with photo?

It would be great to do invites this month  (including requirements, benefits, etc.) so other women entrepreneurs and professionals can join us by January 2014, or are we looking at a later launch for membership?
