Dear,

For our manuscript we created a figure demonstrating the task. The editor of the journal now wants to a written permission in English from the copyright holder of the images to publish them under a CC BY open access license.
This permission document must adhere to these requirements:
- Permissions must be written in English
- Must explicitly state permission is granted to us (Springer Nature Limited), to publish the images under a CC BY open access license.
- Permission must be granted to publish the images in all formats i.e. print and digital.
- Signed by the copyright holder

How do you deal with these questions? And is there permission to showcase a few images in a figure?

Thanks!
Heidi

The images that we've used are not copyrighted by us. The images are open-access. If you wanted to use a figure from a paper that we've published, then we could give you permission to use it, but for the images from the task, you don't need it.
