Good evening,

I hope you're having an amazing spring break! :)

I’m reaching out to share that Boston Public Schools Expanded Learning Opportunities (ELO), in partnership with the Family Helpline, will be offering in-person registration support to assist families with summer program enrollment, and to ask for your support in outreach as we approach the priority registration deadline.

In-person support will be available on Monday, April 27 from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM at the East Boston Welcome Center, and on Wednesday, April 29 from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the Roxbury, Roslindale, and Dorchester Welcome Centers. Translation services will be available at all locations, and ELO administrators will be present across sites at various times throughout the day to answer questions and provide direct support.

Could you please share the in-person registration sign-up link with Family Liaisons and encourage them to support outreach to families who may need assistance registering?

As a reminder, the priority registration deadline for 5th Quarter Summer & Beyond programming is Thursday, April 30 at 5:00 PM. Registering before this deadline gives students the best chance of securing a spot in one of their top-choice summer programs. The priority window is a key opportunity for families to access summer learning and enrichment options, and after it closes, placements will be offered on a space-available basis until all seats are filled. Families who register by the deadline will receive placement notifications on or around Friday, May 1st.

Respectfully,

Joanne Freeman-Fanfan/CPC-Leadership
