CPC Meeting Reminder

Hi, everyone! 

I hope everyone is rested from summer break and geared up for the new school year. 

The first CPC Membership meeting is tomorrow on Zoom, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Translation in all BPS languages will be provided.

Tomorrow’s topics will include:

• Understanding the History of the CPC

• Understanding the Structure and interconnectedness of the BPS Parent Council Advisory Boards

• School Parent/Family Council

• School Site Committee

• Citywide Parent Council

• How to Report Back to Your School

• CPC Leadership Team

• Diversity & Inclusion Co-Chair

• Assistant Diversity & Inclusion Co-Chair 1

• Assistant Diversity & Inclusion Co-Chair 2

• Understanding the CPC Bylaws

As you see above, we have three vacancies on the Leadership Team, which comprise the whole of the Diversity & Inclusion team, and will be holding special elections for these positions during our October meeting. If, after reading the documents above, you are interested or know of someone who would be a wonderful addition to the team, you may nominate yourself or any other BPS parent or caregiver (they don’t have to be a CPC representative!) via the Citywide Parent Council 2025 Nomination Form.
