In recent years, Boston has made significant efforts to make Exam School admission more equitable. Now, with potential changes on the table again, it is essential that these decisions reflect the voices of all Boston communities - especially those most impacted.
Massachusetts Jobs with Justice has been working alongside Boston parents and residents who are concerned that community voices are not being heard in this decision making process. Together we are simply asking for more time and increased communication from BPS so we can ensure that community members have the opportunity to be heard. Nobody benefits from rushed decisions! We're not asking for much. Just basic respect, transparency, and a genuine seat at the table for stakeholders.
Will you take just 60 seconds to help us extend the decision making deadline?
Boston deserves a fair, transparent, and inclusive process - one that reflects our shared values of equity, diversity and educational opportunity for all students!
