Congratulations to all those who played on the weekend and well done to the boys on getting their season off with the win!

 

1.       Argus Crime Stoppers Run – 21 October 2018

 

This Sunday, 21 October 2018 is the Argus Crime Stoppers 5km fun run.  Meagan Jackson has thoughtfully set up a police team where any members of the club are granted $15 off their entry fee (via using the code “Argus2018” when registering).  We hope to see a great BPRFC presence repping our blue singlets!  To register, just follow the prompts at the following website: https://runsignup.com/Race/BM/Hamilton/CrimeStoppers5KRunandWalk  

 

 

2.       Captains BBQ / Hosting the NYPD Rugby Club – 20 October 2018

 

Just a reminder that that the Captains BBQ is next Saturday night at the Police Recreation Club.  This is one of the clubs great traditions in getting the boys & girls teams together for a drink to celebrate the commencement of the season!  Food and drinks will be provided by the PRC where we will also be joined by the NYPD Rugby Club whom we are hosting for their Rugby Tour of Bermuda.  The event will kick off at the conclusion of the exhibition match between the NPYD Rugby Club vs Bermuda Police Rugby Club.

 

 

3.       Rugby Classics – Police Tent – 4 November 2018

 

As most of you are aware, the Rugby Classics is fast approaching and once again the BPRFC have a tent on the opening day (Sunday, 4 November 2018).  The matches on the day will be France vs Ireland followed by South Africa vs Canada.

 

Tickets are being sold via the BPRFC Committee however to secure your spot then please transfer $130 BMD to the Bermuda Police Rugby Club HSBC account (account no: 010-355097-005) and email Stefania (stef...@mef.bm).  Once you have paid for your ticket, a physical ticket will be issued to you which you will need to get into the event as well as access to the police tent).  Remember your ticket includes an open bar, buffet food, entry to the event as well as many other goodies (such as raffle prizes).
