SUB :Password for Seva Sindhu Portal for payment of Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY) incentives through Direct Benefit Transfer Scheme (DBTS)
Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY) is a Centrally Sponsored scheme under the National Health Mission aimed at promoting institutional delivery and covering the incidental expenses following delivery. Under this scheme, monetary assistance is provided for deliveries occurring in public and accredited private institutions. All the BPL/SC/ST mothers are eligible for the incentives.In rural areas, Rs. 700 per beneficiary is transferred whereas in urban areas, the benefit is Rs. 600.Annually , 6 lakh mothers are expected to be benefited by the DBTS.
Hitherto, manual payment at the Peripheral Health Institutes (PHI) to the account of beneficiaries was being done using the SBI bank interface through PFMS . However since the Government of Karnataka has made Treasury interface mandatory a separate portal (Seva Sindhu Portal) for Direct Benefit Transfer Scheme (DBTS), has been developed to enable the disbursal of JSY incentives.
The fields required in the Seva Sindhu Portal for enabling decentralised data entry at the Peripheral Health Institutes level are as below :
1. Name of the beneficiary(As per Aadhar)
2. Aadhar card number
3. RCH mother id
4. Proof of BPL/SC/ST status
5. Authorisation from Administrative Medical Officer (required where the proof of economic status is not available for the poor and the needy )
6. Date and time of Delivery
Process for making JSY payment
Data entry for initiating payment under the JSY scheme is done through the Seva Sindu Portal of the government . 1 person in your facility should be designated for making data entry using the data entry login and password provided by the department to the official email of the facility .

Process Step -1
The following is the user id and password for data entry in Seva Sindu Portal :

1 Please enter the last 8 numbers of the RCH id of the mother ; the 1st 4 numbers are pre- entered .
2 The login page opens and details of the beneficiary eg Name of the beneficiary , Aadhar card number, RCH mother id, BPL/SC/ST status , Date and time of Delivery etc is found .
3. Verify the Aadhar No , the 2nd page opens regarding Aadhar authentication
4. You are required to enter name as per Aadhar, and submit for Aadhar verification
5. Submit for Aadhar verification
Process Step -2 Approval of Medical Officer for making the JSY payment
The following is the user id and password for approval in Seva Sindu Portal :

1. The approver page opens and beneficiary needs to be selected and approved
2 . The data flows to Chief Financial Officer (NHM) for making payment through the State Treasury
The Portal is live and data entry and approvals should commence immediately .Even though the payment can be made for eligible beneficiaries under JSY scheme, from 1st April 22, onwards , it is to be noted that payment has already been made by concerned facilities from April to Oct 22 . All eligible beneficiaries from 1/11 /22 onwards need to be paid and also those beneficiaries who have not been paid at the facility level before Nov22
