Initial value for a <property>

There doesn't appear to be anyway to assign default/initial values
from within the <property> or <process> elements. Same goes for
dataInputs, since dataInputs can be optional.

Is this functionality missing?

Also, what about parameters - ahem, "dataObjects" - that are InOut?
How are they supposed to be represented? In a <process> there are
dataInputs, dataOutputs, and properties, but there doesn't appear to
be a way to initialize a property with a dataInput, and then set the
value of the dataOutput to that same property from within the
<process> element when the process is done executing.
