Winter doesn't seem to want to let go, but we're going to encourage spring to arrive in any case.
So come on down in April to the Bloomfield Public Library!

The theatre stage is still under construction, so Monday & Thursday movies will be postponed until May (stay tuned for updates).  We apologize for the inconvenience, but the stage is looking great!

In 1944, a German agent known as “the Needle” has discovered the secret of D Day.  With British Intelligence on his trail, the Needle races to reach his homeland.  He did not count on the courage of a lovely young British wife and mother.  Their encounter on a storm-swept island off the coast of Scotland could change the course of the war. Ken Follett’s wartime suspense novel is also a touching love story.  The characters of Henry and Lucy transcend the stereotypes of passion and patriotism   Donald Sutherland and Kate Nelligan star in the 1981 film version of the novel.  .
