guys ,

Unfortunately the Bplan has been preponed to 12th November. Hence we are hardly left with (only) 4 days to work (excluding friday evening ).
Lets take it seriously , plan it well and make it work !

We'll have a meeting tomorrow- 6th November in the department at 10 am .i.e free slot .

P.S. Sorry for informing it late .

Regards,
 S.Ragavi.

I don't know how many of you went through this pdf given by ma'am . Just spend a min or two reading . This gives some idea on what all aspects we should look into for the bplan presentation

For the lazy ones, I have taken the liberty to categories it according to the groups,

Technical Team

  1. Chemical structure and Basic chemistry
  2.  Chemical and physical properties
  3.  IPR related to the product/process
  4.  Carry out a detailed literature review on different routes/processes (different feed stocks and different processes)      currently used in industry to produce the specified product.
  5.  Prepare various flow sheets showing these processes.
  6.  Select the best route to produce the product. Give your reasoning for the selection (based on raw material             availability, impact on the environment, safety, regulatory aspects etc.).
  7.  Evaluate the technical status of the project.
  8.  Prepare a detailed flow sheet for the selected process.
  9.  Generate promising alternatives (different reactors/multiple reactors, different organisms etc.) as a base on which to design the process plant

  1. Marketing Team
  2.

  1.  Application and uses
  2.  World demand and production
  3.  Manufacturing Companies and their capacities
  4.  Demand in India (Import –Export data)
  5.  Selling Price
  6.  Analyze the regulatory compliances for the production of the product.
  7.  Evaluate the viability/profitability of the process/product.

QMS:
  1.  Carryout a detailed environmental protection and safety study. It should include the principal issues in environmental protection and safety considerations of the plant.

Hope you agree to most of it. All the corresponding teams please be prepared with answers to the above queries.

I think the following can be taken up by Plant set-up as they are all downstream process related.

  1.  Prepare various flow sheets showing these processes.
  2.  Select the best route to produce the product. Give your reasoning for the selection (based on raw material             availability, impact on the environment, safety, regulatory aspects etc.).
  3.  Evaluate the technical status of the project.
  4.  Prepare a detailed flow sheet for the selected process.
