Upcoming Boston Pride Hockey Events and Important Dates

Please take a moment to review this email.  It contains important information on upcoming events, save the dates, etc...
 

• Scrimmage Ice:  Continues every Thursday night, 9pm in Cambridge.  We have had great turn outs and the after skate socials have been well attended.  Pre-pay plans for the second half season (January 5th-April 12th) are available.  15 skates pre-pay $225 (save $75!) and is due no later than January 19th.  5-pack vouchers are also available for $75 (save $25) and availeable through the end of January.  Bring cash or your checkbook!

 

• Boston Tournament - Memorial Day weekend.  We currently have 5 committed teams coming for the tournament:  Chicago, Toronto, Vancouver, NYC, Boston and space for 3 more - we expect these slots to be filled soon.  If you are interested in joining one of the two tournament committees, let me know.  Our next planning meeting is January 19th, 6-730pm in Cambridge.  More details will be released, including pre-registration at the end of this month or early February.  We are likely having two divisions - "A" and "B" and hope to have two Boston teams - one in each division.  Scott will be sending out a link to the updated tournament page soon!

 

• BPH Pond Hockey Social -  Save the Date!  February 25th at Bow Lake.  Informal pond hockey games on Bow Lake in front of the Estey Camp. Outdoor and indoor fireplaces, adult beverages and all day hockey on the lake followed by an evening social and overnight.  Group limited to the first 15 respondents.  $20/person covers food/beverage/overnight arrangements, etc...  Extra funds donated to the MSPCA.

 

• Madison, Wisconsin Hockey Tournament -  This tournament is being hosted by Madison April 20th weekend.  Registration is $75 through March 31st.  We are likely sending a complete team.  If you would like to attend, drop us an email.  Hotels, roommate needs, flights and car rentals information will only be sent to those players on the list.
