Boston Tournament

Boston Pride Hockey is pleased to announce we have secured the ice for the 2012 Memorial Day weekend "Boston Bean-Town Classic Invitational" tournament.  The rink is the Cronin rink in Revere.  A shuttle service to and from host hotels to the rink and MBTA trains has been put in place and we have a private boat cruise on Boston Harbor set for 7pm on Sunday evening of the weekend.  Registration will take place all day Friday with games beginning at 5pm on Friday, all day Saturday and Sunday, play offs on Monday.  We will also host a "skills competition" on Sunday afternoon.  We expect to host between 8 and 10 teams from across the US and Canada.  More details in August/September.
 
We are looking for volunteers to help in the following areas.  If you are interested, please let us know:
 
Website design (possibly a paid position)
Fundraising - host hotels, bars/restaurants, etc...
Event planning - coordinating boat trip, Saturday night social, breakfast, etc...
Meeters and Greeters - work registration, on site game assistants, assist players (directions, etc..)
Welcome packet committee - tee shirts, hockey jerseys, gift bags, etc...
 
 
This tournament will rotate between us, Chicago (2011) and Vancouver (2013).
 

This will be our first Boston tournament since 1999!  Thanks for participating and joining the fun!
