Boston Pride Hockey is pleased to announce our recent victory at the Chicago Market Days Classic tournament this past weekend! After tying NYC 0-0 in a thrilling game of close calls, BPH went on to defeat "The Zoo" team by a score of 9-1 and later that day cut down Chicago by a score of 4-1. On Sunday, BPH advanced to the semi finals defeating "The Zoo" again by a score of 9-1 giving Boston first place in the division and a shot at the championship against NYC on Sunday afternoon. Solid defense, great goaltending (only allowing 3 earned goals in 5 games), and pesky offense lead Boston to a 3-0 win for the championship!
Special thanks to Mark Murphy for great bench work and assisting the captain with the lines.
Attached are a few photos from the games. Our website will be updated soon and the gallery will contain additional shots.
This tournament is rotating between Chicago, Boston and Vancouver. Boston hosts the tournament on Memorial Day weekend, 2012.
See you all for scrimmage ice skates starting September 1st!
