Is it possible for me to fly one wing at the Isle of Wight round and a different wing at the Peaks round ? ( I'm presuming an event is a round ?? or is it ?? ) Rule 5. Changing glider |
| Once a pilot scores in any event they must fly the same glider throughout that event. Steve C |

The answer is yes, Steve. By event it means round. Within a round it is also possible given a good reason and dispensation.

In the Champs, there has never been any issue with flying a different wing in the two legs. No dispensation needed.
Dispensation needed when a change is during one leg. Dispensation is normally forthcoming provided there is no significant performance advantage.
