BPBible 0.5 Beta 5 released and final release plans

Hi all,

I have (finally) released BPBible 0.5 Beta 5.  Unless any major problems are found with it, the intention is that this will be the final beta and there will be no more changes in the final release.  I'm running out of excuses .  I can blame all of it on a range of factors, including annoying focus problems which have been plaguing the software since Beta 2 and my uncertain travel plans (in the past two weeks I've been in Hyderabad, Kolkata, Srikakulam, Visakhaptnam and Kakinada, and most of that time has been out of internet access), but ultimately I just want to get 0.5 done, and I think I will be aiming at this Sunday or Monday for a release before I lose internet access again.   So if anyone wants to test the release, please do it and get back to me ASAP.

Hi all,

I decided after a crashing bug was found to release a new beta, beta 6.  It contains a few bug fixes, but otherwise should be fairly innocuous.  I also found to my great annoyance that some of the focus issues are still around even in Beta 5, which can lead to reordering of passages in the Manage Topics Window just using mouse movements.  However, I'm not sure that I have a better solution that what I put in there, so I don't think I can do much (I've tried some more things in the past couple of days, but they haven't worked out either).

I'm travelling tonight and for the next few days, but I'm now thinking Tuesday or Wednesday for a final release unless something else comes up.
