Hello Bozeman Road Racers,
We have 2 amazing opportunities to volunteer with Special Olympics coming up. We are all passionate about cycling and it’s a true gift to come together to share that passion with Montana’s local and state Special Olympians. Our Bozeman comp is expected to take place on April 26th and Billings will take place on May 15th.
How hard is the job? Well it’s not difficult at all. We need corner monitors, race starters, timers, recorders, and everyone doubles as the cheering section. It is simply one of the best days you will have all year that involves a bike and I can personally attest it beats a podium finish hands down. Lastly, I am looking to expand my Billings cycling network to support the competition that will take place there. If anyone has some good contacts in Billings that I could contact to help spread the word and volunteer that would be most appreciated.
