Text input in IE8 not updating

If I have a form with a text input in a Boxy (0.1.4), in IE8 when I
type into the text box the cursor moves forward but the text isn't
visible until I remove focus from the element. This is a very
confusing bug. Have tested in all browsers and am only getting this
problem in IE8.
Anyone else getting this?
