Hello Boxsters,

This is the last Monday in July, and time for a new Free Download.

This week's FD is from a BBC TV show that has been renewed several times.

The show was the "Thunderbirds."

This show was another of the sci-fi shows the BBC did in the 1960s.

It began in 1964 and last only only lasted another year for 32 episodes.

The original show used animated supermarionation for the main characters.

It was re-invented in a 2004 movie, with live-action characters and again in a 2015-2020 series with live and animated characters.

Last year a blu-ray set with all 78 episodes was released to compliment the original, 1964, 32 episode release.    

This weeks FD is the boxart that Imai featured on their kit of the Roll Royce FAB-1, 6-wheel saloon car.

This car was the primary ride for Lady Penelope and had had more secret abilities than a James Bond car.

This kit was likely released in the early 1970s, but Scalemates does not have it.

The original car was made by Rolls Royce, the car for the 2004 movie was made by Ford.

I was just watching a Youtube, "where are they now" show about the marionettes and some of the prop models....many of which still exist in private hands.
