Hello Boxsters,
It is the last Monday in October, 2025, and time for a new Free Download.
This weeks FD is another from the prolific scanner of Chuck D.
The art is from the 1966 release by UK model maker, Inpact, of their 1/48 scale kit of the Bleriot XI aircraft as seen in the movie, "Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines." (1965)
Inpact released six kits, of the 20, 1910 era aircraft that were made for the movie.
Inpact sold their molds to Pyro, then they went to Life-Like, and today these kits are still available by Lindberg, who is owned by Round 2.
The French Bleriot XI first flew in 1909 and over 100 of them were built before WWI.
It was the first heavier-than-air aircraft to cross the English Channel, in 1909.
I was able to get a handful of images of the Bleriot for your viewing pleasure.
All the images are 1280 pixels.
