Hello Boxsters,
It is the first Monday in December, 2025, after a nice Thanksgiving holiday.
This is also the time for a new Free Download.
The boxart this week is from the 1953, Revell release of their 1/48 scale kit of a horse powered fire wagon.
There were several of these kits originally done by Marlin Toys in the early 1950s.
The real horse drawn fire fighting wagons were in use from the mid-1800s until the early 1900s when gas powered vehicles took over.
I was able to collect a hand full of images depicting these wagons for your enjoyment.
All the images are 1280 pixels.

I tried an Internet search for the real example upon which the model might have been based to no avail.  The model incorporates some of the elements seen in the photos.
