Hello Boxsters,
It is Monday, 15 SEPT, 2025, and time for a new Free Download.
We spent all day on the road returning from an extended weekend with family.
All, but one, of my wife's siblings and their spouses gathered for some quality family time at a KOA campground in the Virginia Blue Ridge near Monroe, VA.
We spent all our time just hanging out, fixing meals, playing games and fire pit chats.
It was a wonderful time, but the 3.5 hour drive is taxing.
That bring us to this week's FD.
I decided to use one that Christian put together many years ago.
The image is a composite with 4 boxarts, that represent some of the early Lockheed Skunk Works secret aircraft from Hawk and Revell.
The U-2 first flew in 1955 and is still flying today.
The A-11 Oxcart that led to the YF-12A first flew in 1962, and was developed into the SR-71 which first flew in 1964 and was finally retired in 1999.
I picked a few images of them for your viewing pleasure.
All the images are 1280 pixels.
