Hello Boxsters,
It is the last Monday in August, 2025, and time for a new Free Download to close out the month.
This weeks FD comes us from kit importer, UPC.
It is the art from Scott Eidson, that was featured on their 1963 release of the 1/325 scale kit of the HMS Cadiz, Royal Navy Battle-Class destroyer.
The kit is a repop of the old 1960, Frog, HMS Trafalger.
The Cadiz was launched on 1944, and served with the Royal Navy until it was placed in reserve in 1953.
In 1956 it was sold to Pakistan and renamed the PNS Khaibar after being refitted for active duty.
During the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971 it was sunk with almost all hands onboard.
I found a few images of it on the Web and reformatted them for your enjoyment.

This ship sure looks fast. Read that a French destroyer, 'Le Fantasque' once had the world speed
record for a ship of this class and size. Also, this FD reminds me of a great British war film:
'The Cruel Sea'. My Navy father who was on several destroyers showed me the film.
