Men,  I've always been fascinated with the Williams kits. I built the B-10 and don't remember any problem with it. I bought their C-46 and after looking at the contents decided I didn't even want to mess with it.  That's probably my former bias against primitively detailed kits. I don't know if anybody makes a C-46 now but I might look at Williams again. I've seen a lot of their racers built up and they look like nice models. I'd really like to build some of their large scale engines and machine guns. Those look pretty neat.

For some reason I'm just not into between-war aircraft, except for some of the Navy rag wings. When I built the B10, I'd recently built Tamiya's Buffalo and had the Netherlands East Indies markings available. I painted my B10 with Pactra rattle cans and turned it into a Dutch bird.

All my best,

Fred

I bought one of these in 74-75. My first Wms Bros kit. It was followed in 1976 by C-46 as soon as it hit the market. I was warned away from their kits by some fellow modelers, PIA kits. ...more

The box art on all the Williams Bros. kits impressed me a lot though
I never bought one of their kits though. The Gee-Bee Racer I did build.

Jaime, are you thinking of the Hawk/Testors Gee Bee?  Do I even remember that correctly?

Fred,
You nailed it! The Hawk/Testors Gee Bee Racer kit was the one I built.
Turned out just like the photo on the box top. Fairly easy build.
