Hello Boxsters,
Monday has found us again and so it is time for a new Free Download.
Model kit maker, Atlantis, has released the 1/56 scale, Revell F-94C Starfire kit.
To celebrate this this weeks FD is the original 1953 boxart that Revell featured on their first release of this kit.
The first release did not have landing gear and came with a stand for display.
The Atlantis release retains the molded in decal placements and a great Revelling world stand.
The Lockheed F-94 first flew in 1949.
Production began in 1950 and 855 aircraft were produced over 3 versions.
The Starfire was in active service from 1950 until 1959 and replaced by the new Northrop F-89 Scorpion.
The F-94C was the final and most produced version with 387 planes built.
I selected 16 nice images of the Starfire for your enjoyment.
