Hello Boxsters,
I hope you are all having a nice Memorial Day with friends and Family.
Not too many years ago my wife and I would be recovering from spending all day Sunday on the bike in DC for Rolling Thunder.
Rolling Thunder is gone and most of the sponsors have passed.
The ride still takes place as "Rolling to Remember," but with much fewer participants.
It is also time for a new Free Download.
While rummaging around in Chris' files I came across the original scan of the first release boxart of the 1/76 scale, Aurora B-29.
This kit was released in 1954.
I thought it would be a neat follow on from last weeks 1953 boxart.
The B-29 first flew in 1942, and almost 4,000 of them were build during WWII.
It was retired in 1960 and most of them were scrapped.
There is only two still flying today, DOC and FIFI.
I selected a dozen images of the B-29 for your viewing pleasure.
All the images are 1280 pixels.
