Hello Boxsters,
The final Monday in June has arrived and it brings a new Free Download to fire up the 4th!
This week''s FD is a brand new scan courtesy of FB kit collector John C.
The boxart is from the 1970 release by AHM/MATZ of the 1:1 scale kit of the Walther P38 WWII German 9MM, semi-auto pistol.
The P38 was designed in 1938 by Carl Walther.
The German high command saw it's potential and ordered it into production as an official combat side arm, in addition to the better known and much older Luger.
in 1963, the P38 was updated with newer materials, mostly aluminum, and re-designated the P1.
Over a million of them have been produced over the years.
I selected and formatted a handful of images of the P38/P1 for your enjoyment.
