These classic Monogram kits sure had distinctive box top art. Beautiful!
I kind of had a laugh at the Zeros on some dirt strip and the type on the
box says: "WW2 Japanese Carrier-Based Fighter". Where's the carrier?
I've seen a restored example flying at Chino Planes of Fames Museum
at Chino Airport in California. They restored many classic WW2 planes.
(BTW - the bottom photo, second from the right end does not come up.
The photo to the left of it comes up again. Computers do mess with us)
