UNSUBSCRIBE from Box-Art Group - HOW TO

If you do not want to be a member of this group here's what to do:

Start a new email message -- using the email address which you are currently registered to this group with -- and put the word UNSUBSCRIBE in the Subject line. Send it to:

I think that if you want to be removed from the group, you should reply only to the original author. Filling up everyone else's mailbox by hitting "Reply to All" is totally unnecessary.

Doug,

No, replying to the author of a message will not get anyone unsubscribed.

That message about "how to unsubscribe" went out to everyone because I posted it to the group website as a "sticky" message that permanently appears at the top of the group website's "home page" -- this is to help new members and those who don't read the instructions that appear at the bottom of each group message know what to do to remove themselves instead of sending a "Please Remove Me" to the entire group on a regular basis.

But, of course, when a person sends a message with "unsubscribe" in the Subject line to the special email address of

box-art+u...@googlegroups.com

That message does not get send out to anyone (not even me), it just forces a robot to remove the person who requested the unsubscribe from the membership list.
