Hello Boxsters,

Today is the middle Monday in March, 2026, and time for a new Free Download for the loyal followers.

This weeks FD is another that was recently extracted from Chris' long lost files.

The boxart comes from Revell, and is the art that was featured on their 1954 release of the 1:1 scale Pepperbox 6-barrel pistol from the 1800s.

Full size plastic firearm models were very popular in the 1950s and early 1960s.

After a few unfortunate shootings from tragic law enforcement mistakes, they all but disappeared from the market. 

The Japanese revived the full size firearms models in the 1970s and 80s, but they did not stay on the market for very long in the US.

There is still a market for firearms models, but today they tend to be much smaller.

I selected a handful of Pepperbox images for your viewing pleasure.
