Hello Boxsters,
It is the first Monday in October, 2025, and Fall is on my doorstep.
Here is the US mid-Atlantic we are expecting 2 days of Summer, then rain.
After the cold front comes through a 20F degree drop in temps.
I guess I better change the filter and check out the heater soon!
It is also time for a new Free Download.
This weeks FD comes from the scanner of Chuck Davenport and features a rarely seen boxart from :Lindberg.
The Wappen Von Hamburg's art was done by dutch artist, A.O. Kooyman.
The kit was 1/133 scale and first released in 1965.
Revell got the molds and released it in 1984.
The actual ship was launched in 1669 and served as an armed escort for German merchant ships.
It caught fire in 1683 and burned to the waterline, killing many men.
I found a few images of it and posted them for your edification.
