TEACHER HOLIDAY LUNCHEON
The luncheon was postponed until tomorrow, December 9th. It’s not too late to bring a gift card to the front office in the morning!
FINAL EXAMS
Exams start on Thursday and the students will be released at 1:10pm; the schedule is linked above. Buses will run accordingly. Go here for details regarding the Exam Incentive Guidelines.

TUTORING
The National Honor Society's Peer Tutoring Program provides free one-on-one academic help to students between 8:15 am - 8:45 am in the Bowie library. Although walk-ins are welcome, when a reservation is submitted efforts will be made to ensure the student is matched with a Bowie NHS Peer Tutor who can best help.

Bowie Band Shines with Individual Determination & Success…
Our band students auditioned at the Region 18 Band Auditions where they competed against musicians from all over the Austin, Hays, Dripping Springs, and Bastrop. We had 37 students make one of the region bands, which is more than any other school in the region. After A Lot of Tumbles, Bowie Wrestling Beats Westlake…
Westlake has beaten Bowie the last 6 years between 1 and 15 points in each of those losses....but finally Bowie comes out on top! We had a 2 team sweep with our JV winning a 30-12 victory and a 41-36 win by the Varsity. The Varsity Boys team is currently 4-0 in duals for the season.

CLASS OF 2021: Time to clean out those closets and cabinets! We are having a fundraiser for the Bowie HS Class of 2021 and you can help! Drop off your unwanted goods at Savers Thrift Store at 4001 S. Lamar Blvd. next Saturday Dec 16th between 12:30pm-1:30pm. Just tell them you're with "Bowie High School Class of 2021".
Here's how to divide things: SOFT items: clothing, bedding/towels, shoes, accessories, jewelry, CDs/DVDs goes in 33 gallon trash bags. HARD items: toys & games, kitchen & electrical items, Knick knacks & sporting goods go in boxes.
We get paid by the pound!!! So friends & neighbors please start gathering these items for drop off next Saturday! Message Theresa at 512-297-3442 with any questions.
ROBOTICS: There’s a new club in town! Check out the Bowie Botdawgs and let your student know they are meeting on Friday’s after school until 4:30.
CHEER: Bowie Cheer Winter Camp will be held Wed. December 20th, 7:30am – 5:30pm for Ages: Pre K – Middle School. Bowie Cheerleaders will teach cheers, tumbling, stunts and dances along with other fun activities such as games and a creation station. At the end of camp, your child will be in a performance to showcase what they have learned.
- Cost: $75 for the full day – pre-registrations and
walk ins accepted (camp fee is non-refundable)
- Location: Bowie High School Gym
- Morning and afternoon snacks will be provided including gluten and nut free
options
- Campers need to provide their own lunch
- Performance will be at 5:00pm in the Bowie Gym
