PARENT TECHNOLOGY NIGHT
Please join Bowie's technology specialists on Thursday, March 8th from 6-7pm in the Bowie library! Learn to navigate the various AISD web-based systems, see how Chromebooks and BLEND work in the Bowie classroom, and get tips about how to promote healthy tech usage with your kids. Nine Finalists at Swim & Dive State Meet…
All nine of our swimmers and our diver made it to finals at the State Meet. This is the most Bowie has sent to the State Meet since 2003 and is a huge accomplishment for our team!
Diana Dunn placed 2nd in both the 200IM and the 100FR, both of which are very competitive events in our area. Gavin Moak placed 16th in the 500FR. Alekzandr Popper placed 9th in diving. Mackenzie Martell, Sigrid Lamberg, Caroline Myers and Diana Dunn placed 15th in the girls 200 Medley Relay. Diana Dunn, Delaney Anthony, Arianna Lax and Kaitlyn McDaniel placed 7th in the girls 400FR Relay.

Regional Wrestling Results…
The varsity boys and girls wrestling teams competed in the UIL Region 4 Wrestling Tournament. We had three boys and two girls qualify for the State Wrestling Tournament being held in Cypress, Texas. As a team, the Varsity Boys finished as Regional Runner Up!

Region 4 Runner Up - Aylen Vivar (119); Region 4 Runner Up - Christian Moreno (120); Region 4 Runner Up - Jacob Junk (145); Region 4 Runner Up - Robert Hernandez (285).

Bowie Students at Regional Science Fair…
At the Regional Science Fair, Angela Cox placed 5th in Mathematics;
Jason Saladiner placed 4th in Cellular and Molecular Biology; Talia Hanley placed 3rd in Behavioral and Social Sciences and will be going to State Science Fair with her project: Teaching with Textbooks or Educating with E-Books?...Textbooks may be the smart-book of the future.
Clean Sweep for Girls Soccer…
The Girls Soccer Teams had a clean sweep again last night over Del Valle. The freshmen won 8-0, JV won 4-0, and Varsity won 3-0. Great job to the midfield for controlling the game, and keeping the team on the attack all night. Thanks goes to Madi Horner, Hannah Erb, Hannah Hall, and Jaci Esparza. Great job by the whole team for keeping their cool and staying focused on the game.

This is a traditional fun all-nighter for graduates to celebrate the end of high school with their friends in a safe environment. If you have any questions, please visit our 2018 Project Graduation website here.
We are rolling along with over 100 students signed up! Tickets for Project Graduation is $135. After March 19, 2018, tickets are $150.
We will also be looking for senior parent volunteers to help out with After School Food Sales for 10 days beginning March 19th. We will send a volunteer list in March and any help or donations will be much appreciated!
