AISD SALUTE ACCEPTING NOMINATIONS
Open nominations for Principal of the Year, Assistant Principal of the Year, Counselor of the Year, Librarian of the Year and Classified Staff of the Year began Jan. 2 and close Jan. 31. We invite staff, students, parents and community members to nominate a candidate for these awards. For more information, go to www.aisdsalute.org.

Bowie Teacher of The Year…
We are so excited to announce Ms. Dana Stiles as Teacher of The Year. She teaches Math and UT OnRamps Statistics. Other nominees this year are Mr. Randy Cantu, Ms. Jessica Davis and Ms. Erin Kowalik. This is such an honor and we love all of our teachers. Also, Mr. Bryant is our latest Top Dawg award winner!
Bowie Boys Basketball Wins Latest Games…
Congratulations to the Varsity Boys Basketball Team for their wins against Del Valle HS and Manor HS. Their next Bowie Home Game will be Tuesday, February 6th against San Marcos at 8:00 pm.

Wrestling: Wednesday January 31st- Come out and support your wrestlers at our last home dual of the year and SENIOR NIGHT! ALL BOWIE STUDENTS AND KIDS ARE FREE!! Grandparents of Bowie wrestlers are free as well.
Bowie vs- LBJ,Travis, & McNeil. Varsity Boys & Varsity Girls and JV will all wrestle. Wrestling is set to begin at 6:30 pm. There will be a special presentation and recognition for all of our seniors and their parents before Varsity matches begin. Pizza and refreshments will be available to purchase. Come help fill the stands and show your Bowie Pride!
Golf: Support the Golf Team on February 1st and get a treat at TCBY from 6-10pm.
