Our window for nominations is open between September 14 and September 25.

Girls Cross Country takes 1st Again……
- Congrats to our Varsity girls for taking 1st place at the St. Andrew’s meet this past Saturday, fielding 23 teams and 232 runners!
Bowie Forensics (Speech & Debate) Qualifies for State…
- Seven members of the Bowie Forensics team traveled to Corpus Christi Carroll High School - all seven of the students advanced to elimination rounds in their event! Bowie received 2nd place squad efficiency and 5th place overall.
- 1st Place Congressional Debate - Caleb Newton - STATE QUALIFIED
- Semi-Finalist in LD Debate - Will George; 6th Place Domestic Extemp Speaking - Caleb Newton; 7th Place Congressional Debate - Zach Houdek; 8th Place Domestic Extemp Speaking - Zach Houdek; 10th Place Congressional Debate - Kerry McGillicuddy; Octo-Finalist in LD Debate - Zach Genin
REFLECTIONS PROGRAM
It is time once again for the REFLECTIONS program! A great way for students to be recognized for their artistic talent and a way to build their high school resume. Last year we had 55 entries!
Started in 1969 by the National PTA, Reflections encourages students to express themselves by giving positive recognition for their artistic efforts. Students create and submit works of art in six categories: dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography, and visual arts. Each year there is a different theme. This year's theme is "Let Your Imagination Fly."
Entry forms are available in the Library, Kennel or Online – click HERE.
Deadline for entry submission is Friday, October 30th.
