SOUND SUMMIT
Join us in the stately ballroom of the Powel House for an intimate
evening of new and unusual acts of musical creativity. In this
installment of the popular Bowerbird@Landmarks series, musicians from
all over the world will converge in Philadelphia for a night of never-
been-heard-before creations spanning a plethora of styles and
inspirations. Lebanese bassist Raed Yassin, Norwegian percussionist
Morten J. Olsen (of the band MoHa!) will join Baltimoreans Audrey Chen
(cello) and Jeff Carey (electronics) for an international summit of
musical creation. Also featured this evening will be two duos -
Philadelphia based violinist Katt Hernandez will be joined by New York
City accordionist Jonathan Vincent and an all local duo of trombonist
Dan Blacksberg and violinist Carlos Santiago.
