Hello,

Unfortunately I'm not going to make this weeks meeting as I've got a work trip.

I've made the first drop of the version 2 vPiP - doesn't draw yet, but I've added MQTT, got I2C comms working and implemented the first part of the protocol that send all configuration from the Pi to the Arduino, so there is no config hardcoded into the Arduino code.  The board driver code has moved from python to C++ to remove the issue of orphaned python processes.

I've only implemented I2C comms between the Pi and Arduino.  I need to look at adding Serial comms back in - unless we want to shelve V1 boards?  One of the longer term goals is to get a mobile app to be able to do local config and control over Bluetooth - which will clash with Serial comms on Pi3.  We can discuss V1 board support at meeting after next.

I've also added in a digital sensor (QTR-1RC module) and got auto-homing working.  Is everyone happy with a single sensor solution or should I add in support for an analog sensor, such as the Obstacle Avoidance IR module?

Next step is to implement an improved S-Curve stepper algorithm in the board driver and add MQTT into the renderer python code - this should get v2 drawing.

The pen changer is on the back burner until v2 is working and the SVG renderer has the missing curved lines implemented.

The github zen board is up to date and the backlog is prioritised.
