Awesome hackday coming 30th September No Images? Click here   Water, Water Everywhere...Saturday September 30th 2017 For years now we've been trying to get inside the RNLI to have a hackday in their Poole HQ. And at the same time, we've always wanted to have a hackday with Ordnance Survey's Geovation Hub... and by chance, one has come along. We've helped nudge the event to fruition, and we're proud to see RNLI, OS and Bournemouth Borough Council co-operating to form a fantastic event that brings data and geography together to tackle the real problems we face due the effects water has on our coasts, streets, and lives. There's a bunch of challenges to get you started, and there will be a briefing event on the 15th September in the evening, with the main event at RNLI's Poole HQ on the 30th September. There are real opportunities to find funding from one of these giants to help save lives, finding new ways to predict flooding, or anything else you can think of. This is an event run by those guys and we're happy to help promote it.
