Landscapes You Can Eat!
A design/build continuing education course offered at Durham Tech's Orange County Campus.
This course is designed for students who have a desire to develop knowledge and skills for emerging green opportunities, especially in edible landscaping. The course covers current and historical trends in environment, permaculture principles, basic forest ecology, DIY garden design, and permanent agriculture. Students also gain hands-on experience working in existing gardens and go on local field trips on two Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. (Because this course is self-supporting, no tuition waivers or exemptions are allowed.) 24 hours.
When: Every Tues & Thurs from Feb. 2nd - March 4th, from 6-7:30PM & 2 Saturdays Feb 27th & March 6th, 9am-1:30pm.
Where: Durham Tech's Orange County Campus
Cost: $69 and you must register through DTCC's Continuing Education Dept.
