You all are invited to a Garden Work day this Friday morning at Vance
Elementary - Sulphur Springs Road, West Asheville - 9 am to noon

There is no school but parents are coming in all morning to visit the
teachers. So with a big presence we may be able to get some of those
visiting people to spend some time with us and get familiar with the garden.

Things to bring: card board or a stone or something for boarders

Planned activates:

Plant winter crops with the kids and parents. (Greta and Mo have sprouted
some) and we can plant seeds.

Better define walk ways and boarders
moves leaves around for above mentioned and for weed control
put down card board for above
plant some cover crops
define areas for new leaves and compost

these are the seeds I was thinking of trying to get before then,

winter rye
winter wheat
austrian winter peas
any other peas
