Hi, everyone who has helped me this past week with my Dropbox tray icon issue. @Nancy @Jay, I have some great news! As you know, I had trouble with the Dropbox system tray icon not wanting to open when I clicked it.
I went ahead and tried this, and lo and behold, it worked! I rebooted my system after entering the prompt information and went back into the Windows Update settings, and there were the channels, BUT there was the newest build update. I installed it and rebooted it again.

Thanks for responding. Unfortunately, it didn't work. It's still got a red message badge on it. I can open the DropBox desktop app icon and my DropBox folders when I go into File Explorer. (Windows 11 Home). Between the Community and Support, we'll figure this out!
Thank you so much for your reply. I'm currently working with Maddison from DropBox Advanced support, and she asked me to submit a Capture screen recording. I also submitted a screenshot. I tried to do a screen recording and camera, but my PC webcam couldn't zoom in on that spot. That would have been the best thing to do. Basically, it won't open when I click. It used to pop up about a week or so ago. Then, from what I'm seeing, a Windows update messed that up. But, I looked that up and the new update that's installing (not on mine yet), mentions apps that won't open when clicked in the system tray.
Hi Philo , yes I did use the paper clip but the drawer won't open. Just wondered if there was anything else I could do. I have had the ipad 2yrs and never used the 3g but was going away so thought I would buy a sim but I couldn't open the drawer. But thanks anyway. Vickie4
Model no MD367B/A ipad Wi-Fi Cellular 32GB black. That is what it says on the box the pin is inside the box. I didn't want to push too hard for fear on damaging something, but I did bend the pin trying
If giving a firm push with the tool or a paperclip in the little hole does not work, try taking it t an Apple store and have them look at it. The tray may be stuck or broken, and they'll need to fix it.
I have a Canon Pixma TS8220 printer and there have been times when I have printed a page and the print tray and control panel have opened automatically. Now the printer is telling me to open the control panel and pull out the tray before it will print. I can't find the right settings on the control panel to fix it. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Pretty much the title. AMD Adrenalin won't ever open. When I hover over the icon in the system tray, it disappears before I can even click it. I have disabled windows update from updating my drivers. I have the AMD cleanup tool to remove all my software and drivers for a clean install. Nothing has worked. Would love some help from the developers instead of resorting to random threads on reddit.
Hi Ronstermonster,
I have the same problem with the 6700 XT and I tried a lot from the Internet too that didn't help, like new bios verson, reinstall, permission changed and lots mor, so I think it's a problem with the verson. I would say if you realy need to open AMD Adrenalin, do as I did and go back to an older verson and wait until there is a new update or something helpful. Or ceep that verson, and you can't open it, and wait until someone can realy help but i think we have to wait for an update to fix it
AMD adrenaline is not loading. I've tried using the AMD cleanup utility / DDU and reinstalling 23.10.2. It looks like it installs the drivers but when I try to open up adrenaline it does not load and does not give any popup at all. I'm on Windows version 22H2 Build 22621.2428
I changed for Adrenalin to Pro and I have to say it works petter. I can open the AMD Software: Pro editon, I have fewer or no problems with the graphics than with the Adrenalin Software. So I would recomand to change to the Pro editon. As hint you may need to install it two time with the installer, because that's how it was for me, the first time it's reseted everything and the second time it's installed the latest pro version.
In case anyone is interested, I tested several previous versions of Adrenalin 22.X and 23.X after using DDU or AMD cleanup utility and it did not help. Starting to think I made a mistake switching to AMD
Creative Cloud Desktop application opens for a brief moment in the system tray but just disappears without doing anything. The window for the application never opens. When I check task manager all of the Creative Cloud background processes are all running, including Creative Cloud itself. When I try to reinstall Creative Cloud the results are the same. A peculiar thing I've noticed is that the Creative Cloud Installer never actually completely closes and just runs in the background as I've noticed from task manager, even when it has "finished" installing.
I've used the Adobe CC Cleaner tool multiple times and deleted any trace of Creative Cloud before reinstalling, done numerous restarts, tried running it in compatability mode, installed the MS C++ Redistributables for both 32 bit and 64 bit systems, but nothing works. The outcome is always the same.
I just want to try and install Photoshop, but Creative Cloud isn't cooperating with me. What can I do to fix this.
otoh, if you skipped steps, then you can expect problems which would include a compatibility issue esp. if you downloaded the cc app with win 10, then upgraded to win 11 and used the same installation file with win 11.

be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human
Welp, that somehow failed as well lmao
I stayed with a specialist for nearly 4 hours yesterday and they were about as stumped as I am, they tried everything from renaming files to changing permissions around to enabling the admin account
I uhm.. Hmm. If all else past this fails I might as well just wait until Creative Cloud gets another update and pray that the issue is resolved.
Update: I tried installing a previous version of ACC from
-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html
I installed the x64 version for recent versions of Windows 10 and beyond and it yielded the same result, however I tried downloading the 32 bit version for Windows 10, 8 and 7 and installed that and the installer ran and installed updates without any issues. It kept updating through different versions until it eventually got to the most recent version and the problem started again.
So what I can conclude from this is that it probably is a Windows 11 comparability problem with the most recent version of Adobe Creative Cloud.
The Adobe Creative Desktop is compatible with Windows 11. I know, because I have it running on my laptop. However, I have problems on my desktop computer. The ACD window will open and close immediately. Updates will still work and appear after a while. I assume it has to do with the graphics display of the app, maybe incorrectly calling the Windows API for its display. I have not found a solution yet. (April 2023)
The tray on your Blu-ray player is pretty critical. Without it, you won't be able to watch any of your movies. Although it's pretty dependable, when it won't open, the fix could be as simple as unlocking it or resetting your Blu-ray player.
It only delays the load of some Bitdefender graphics for a better response of Windows 10. The anti-malware engines are loaded automatically at boot from vsserv.exe. This is the main process of Bitdefender in charge of real-time protection.
I also had a same problem. But as mentioned by Alexandru_BD, Bitdefender won't load in system tray even after waiting for 10-15 mins. Later on I discovered that I had disabled Bitdefender VPN from autostart. This somehow prevented main interface as well from starting up. Once I enabled Bitdefender VPN in autostart, it started showing up in system tray upon boot.
I have the same problem. But the icon does not load even after an hour. Bitdefender agent is running and the system is protected. But I have no possibility to manage my settings or add and remove exceptions.
Interesting. I have recently been plagued with the same issue. I'm running Windows 11 build 19043.1766. Although the tray icon is missing, Task Mgr shows that Bitdefender is running. This seems to ONLY happen when I do a cold start. If I then do a restart, the icon magically appears.
