Welcome to April in Colorado!  On Sunday I got a bit of a sunburn while I went for a hike and played ham radio.  On Tuesday everything was covered in snow.

Also means it's tax season, so we're hosting a game day on Saturday, April 15th.  If you've finished your taxes before then it'll be a reward for punctuality.  If you still haven't done your taxes it'll be a good opportunity to procrastinate, since they won't be due until Tuesday.

As usual, you're welcome to come over any time after 2pm and leave to go on your other Saturday adventures… or back home to finish your taxes.  (Folks usually leave by dinnertime.)  You're welcome to bring games, food, drinks, and/or friends you'd like to share.  We'll have plenty of all of those on hand, so feel free to bring just your fantastic self.  If you need to get ahold of me the day of the event, please *call* 303-335-9264 rather than texting.  My phone doesn't call a lot of attention to itself when I get a text message, so I missed someone's question during game day last week.

Please let me know if you plan to attend.  Also let me know if you need my address.  There's ample parking available and we're reasonably close to some bus routes.

In news about a different April, I've booked a group camp site in Arkansas for the total solar eclipse next year.  The eclipse is on Monday afternoon, April 8th 2024.  I've got the site reserved from April 4th through 9th and it'll have 4+ minutes of totality.  If you're interested in camping with us, let me know.  I'll be working out logistics over the next several months.

See you later, whether it's 10-4 or 1040!

A friendly reminder that I'm hosting game day on Saturday.  The weather service predicts rain and snow that day, so what better excuse to stay dry inside playing board games?
