Howdy everyone. Long time, no play! It's been quite a while since I hosted a game day; my typically-busy summer months bled through to mid-fall this year. Let's rectify that by gathering for fun games, good food, and exciting stories of the year gone by on
Sunday, November 26th (post-Thanksgiving weekend).
As usual, arrive at my house any time after 2pm and stay as late as you'd like. There's plenty of parking in front of my place and across the street, and it's a few blocks away from an RTD bus route. Email me in advance or call me day-of at 303-EEL-WANG if you need my address. (I've found that I often don't notice text messages sent during game day until it's too late, so please use the voice feature of your phone, since it creates a more invasive ringing sound.)
Also as usual, you're welcome to bring friends, kids, snacks, drinks, games you'd like to play, or just your fabulous self. I'll provide some combination of leftovers and traditional snacky bits.
Looking further afield, a total eclipse of the sun is coming up on April 8th. Kerry and I have a large camping area in Arkansas on the south shore of Lake Ouachita, reserved from the Thursday before until the day after the sun does its disappearing act. My early-April scouting in Arkansas suggests this should be a great place to take in this wondrous experience. Please let me know if you're interested in joining the fun; there's space for both tents and RVs.
There won't be a game day in December, on account of a suddenly-scheduled trip to Hawai'i. If you're a programmer, or are interested in learning how to program, I recommend
https://adventofcode.com/ as a fun December game instead. I hope to get back on a mostly-regular gaming schedule in January.
Be seeing you!
