It's September, so that means college football, watching leaves change color, cleaning everything that went to Burning Man, and celebrating birthdays of Libras (Libræ?). So come over to my house on September 28th to play games, hang out, and celebrate my 46th birthday (two days post-facto).
As usual, you're welcome to come over any time after 2pm and stay until your other life commitments spirit you away. Bring any combination of food, drinks, friends, kids, games you'd like to play, and stories you'd like to tell. Presents are not required :-) We'll have some food going, including a dairy-free cake or pie, plus alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages.
Email me if you need my address in east Boulder. Day-of, call me at
303-335-9264; I might be too busy socializing and playing games to notice a text message.
Personal news flash: I am now funemployed! Even though I hadn't been planning to quit my job, Google made me an offer that looks a lot like "we'll pay you a year's salary to not work for a while," so consider me on vacation for the next year or so. You can read all about my choice and thoughts on a decade and a half at the #1 company to work for (plus filk lyrics!) at
https://trevorstone.org/googler/With this new-found free time I'll try to do game days more regularly, though there may be interruptions due to exciting travel (dunno where yet, though). It also means I've got plenty of time to hang out, in case you'd like to connect but can't make it to more organized events. Anyone up for a regular roleplaying game?
