Hi everyone!

Once again I am looking forward to hosting Thursday Games this week! I hope everyone can come, it will be at 7pm at my place: 2324 South Street, #5. Directions for anyone new or forgetful: South Street runs west off of Folsom in Central Boulder. It is between Walnut St. and Canyon Blvd near downtown Boulder. 2324 is a brick and ivy apartment building on the south side of the street. There is street parking out front. To get to #5, walk around to the SE corner of the building down a concrete path, there is a small flight of stairs and then you will find our door -- just come on in! You can also call my home at +1.303.443.0639 if you get lost.

Weather has been cooler in Boulder lately, so it has not bee as prohibitively as hot as it was last week. Last week we had a grand time playing The Manhattan Project where France built the most bombs! Imagine that. In another game with Mitch and Ben, France won again. France has won that game twice. There will not be a third.

On another note, this Saturday I am planning on hosting (or looking for a cool, open space to host) a game of Twilight Imperium. I know that Jon W, Ben, Mitch, and myself are interested. Perhaps setup happening as early as 10am on Saturday, and then first turn should be ready to go no later than 11am? If you are interested in this, let me know! I will start a separate thread about it later this week.

That's all for now folks! Have a great week, and I hope to see you on Thursday! Please RSVP so I know how many people to expect!

Matt Hulse.

I'll be there this week. I don't recall The Manhattan Project having national identities. Clearly I haven't played it enough!

I'm going to do my best to make it this week, and hopefully Tim can
come as well.

Matt, you have clearly been out of the country too long. Who puts a +1 in front of their phone number? Foreigners, that's who.
P.S. I'll be there.

P.P.S. Secret message to Ian: It's an expansion. And France is powerful.

Only 12.5 % for france.  China is winning, which seems odd to me.  Either we have not been playing the other nations correctly or others are not using France correctly.  I found that power absolutely awesome.

We did value the significance of bomb designs in that last round, which I think helped highlight France's ability for that game. In the second game with France, Ben was Great Britain with the double-fighter & double-bomber factory which pushed a lot of people away from the 'bomb path' and into infrastructure, repair, and defense! I am interested in another game with nations for sure;

Matt.

I'm very sorry all. Something has come up and I'm not going to be
able to make it. Have fun!

I think I'm going to crawl out from under my rock and actually make it
to games again. See you all tonight!
