Wikipedia tells me that February 25th is the feast day of King Æðelberht of Kent. My dad has told me that a family genealogy effort traced the Stone family across the Atlantic in the the 1630s, where they'd previously been farmers in Kent for a few hundred years. If you need a tenuous excuse to play games next Sunday, there you go.
As usual, come any time after 2pm and stay until you need to leave; folks usually head out by mid-evening. Email me if you need my address. You're welcome to bring snacks, drinks, games, friends, kids, stories, Wikipedia rabbit holes, or just your fabulous self.
Please RSVP if you intend to come so I can get a rough headcount. (This is quite different, of course, than a request for the head of a rough Count.) Also be advised that we now have a cat; she tends to be skittish around new people but might be coaxed into a game of chasing hair ties and small rolling objects. If you need to get ahold of me on the day of, please _call_ 303-EEL-WANG; I'm less likely to notice a text message in the moment.
My apologies for only providing a week's notice. In this time of big snows and long winter naps my "email writer's block" has been strong.
