Jim SEZ:

It was unfortunate that we had to cancel the last meeting due to a power outage at Backcountry, but there are things we cannot control regardless of our optimism.   Hope everyone enjoys the holiday season.  At our next regular meeting on January 7, David Gustafson, a ranger with OSMP, will talk to us about how his department is managing an ever-increasing number of visitors to our mountain parks and open spaces and the preparations they are taking to deal with wildfires and floods if and when they occur in the future.  Please join all your fellow optimists at lunch to start off the new year with optimism and enthusiasm!
